Treadfit is an innovative fitness facility that provides customized workouts from certified trainers. Each class will improve your overall fitness level using interval training on the treadmill, coupled with full-body strength training. At Treadfit, no class is ever the same!The Workout: Each 50-minute Treadfit workout incorporates periods of intense anaerobic exercise with periods of recovery and strength-building exercises. This type of high-intensity interval training has been proven to increase endurance and improve fat burning - resulting in a stronger, faster, and leaner you! Each client will receive a heart-rate monitor to track heart rate zones and accurate calorie burn. Throughout the 50-minute workout, clients will strive to complete 10 to 18 minutes of training at 84% or higher than maximum heart rate. Hitting this target will produce an increased metabolic rate for 24 to 36 hours after the workout. Clients on average will burn between 400-800 calories per class.

Have you always wanted to try Treadfit, but are intimidated by the thought of sprints and high intensity strength exercises? While our standard Treadfit classes are suitable to all fitness levels, we have recognized a need for a slower paced class that still packs a great cardio and strength workout. We introduce Treadfit for Walkers. This 50-minute class will incorporate modest increases in speed and incline on the treads with strength and core exercises on the floor. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a great, lower impact workout.

MARY KATE COOK
Mary Kate is a certified ACE group fitness instructor who is passionate about running and strength training. As a busy mom of three wonderful kids, she believes making time for health and fitness should always be a priority for our mental and physical health.
After several years of participating and instructing at Treadfit Beverly, Mary Kate & her husband, Tony, decided to open Treadfit Palos Heights. They believe Treadfit is the most effective workout you can find, and are thrilled to bring it to this community!
Treadfit has encouraged her to become stronger as a runner and person. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with others to help them achieve their goals while having fun and meeting great people!
Colleen is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, mom of three, and an elementary school teacher. She has been active most of her life participating in different sports as well as triathlons and various races. Fitness is important to her, and she believes it is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Over the past several years, Colleen has made running and Treadfit the focus of her workouts. She loves that Treadfit incorporates cardio as well as strength training. She is excited to be teaching at Treadfit and sharing her passion for fitness with others!
Morgan is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and registered nurse who has seen first hand the importance of incorporating physical activity into her daily routine. Following her college volleyball career, she turned to marathon running and various strength programs. She found Treadfit to be the perfect balance for her as it incorporates running and strength in a motivating group setting with plenty of variety. Morgan resides in Evergreen Park with her husband and three kids.
